The Foo Fighters are airing a free concert hosted by Facebook tonight at 10pm EST. This could be pretty cool and something any fan of the Foo doesn’t want to miss.

Rob Zombie has recently announced that he has left his recording “home” of the last 18 years, Geffen, to move to Roadrunner records after complaints of not enough label support.

Zombie says:
“It certainly wasn’t an easy decision to make after all this time, but it had to be done. I love this new record and wanted to surround myself with an excited new group of people who can reignite my enthusiasm for working within a hard rock record label. Roadrunner seems to be the perfect place.”

The new album “Hellbillie Delux 2″ is set to hit stores sometime next year and will be followed with a major tour.

The Black Crowes will be releasing a new DVD on November 24th documenting their historic “Cabin Fever” recording sessions that took place at legendary drummer Levon Helm’s barn this past winter which Dave and Nick were lucky enough to see in person.

It looks like Lilith Fair will be returning next year for an 18 city tour. If the Indigo Girls are on the bill I have a feeling flannel shirt sales will be through the roof.

Rolling Stone is reporting that Scott Weiland and Stone Temple Pilots will be getting together to record a new album and launch a lengthy tour in 2010. I hope they stay together long enough to make this happen. More details at RollingStone.com:
