Video of the Week – The Black Crowes – No Speak No Slave

The Black Crowes are releasing a new album next week called “Croweology” it is a record of acoustic versions of all of their hits, some songs from deep in their catalog and some covers. In celebration of my favorite band putting out a new album check out this video from the band. It was 1992 and the band had just released the follow up to “Shake Your Money Maker”. They had fired a guitar player, hired a guitar and keyboard player and they were as tight as they have ever been. Check out “No Speak No Slave” and see how they started their shows on that tour. This version of the band was a much more aggressive and angry version of the band you see today.
