I hate to sound like my dad, but what the hell has happened to popular music? It was not that long ago that I could turn on the radio and hear some great artists in their primes. I could hear music that meant something and would transcend genre and time. I am talking about groups like Van Halen, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Artists like Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, and Bruce Springsteen.
